Today’s proverb is:

穴があったら入りたい (ana ga attara hairitai)

ana means HOLE
あったらattara comes from ある (aru) which means TO EXIST the たら (tara) conjugation change the meaning into “IF (something) EXIST)”
入りたいhairitai comes from 入る (hairu) which means TO ENTER the たい (tai) conjugation change the meaning into “WANT TO ENTER”

The literal translation is quite obvious.
If a hole exist, (I) want to enter

This phrase is used when someone feel so ashamed that they want to hide somewhere.

easy-japan:

借りてきた (karite kita) is made from 借りる (kariru: to borrow) and くる (kuru: to come) and 猫 (neko) is cat.

This proverb express a cat which so well behaved since it’s a borrowed cat. The cat might be wilder in it’s real house. Think about a boy who is so wild at his house but become well behaved in the outside :D
